Moved thread from the General Community Discussion section to the Aviator sub-forum since the OP's topic is specific to the Aviator line and not a general topic.

I’ve never had a pickup truck, so never even considered an RV trailer or 5th wheel, however………..

I always thought these Flyers were the most beautiful trailer unit ever.
I’m not sure when they were built, and I may be wrong, but are they model discontinued? I can’t imagine why. Anyone that has one would get my attention to chat it up if and when I ever see one.

Absolutely gorgeous. Collectors item maybe?

I would agree. Like the look. This is a good design for a class A or C body. Bet it would improve gas mileage and look awesome.

Thanks for posting.

They were built in 2012 and sole as 2013 models. And you are correct they were only made for that 1 year!

So sorry to hear I was right. Maybe it was the ultimate product but out priced for the market or times. Still……I wish I had bought one.
Talk about……..Back to the Future!

Sleek look, but that front window is going to be a "target" of opportunity.

I am about to purchase an Aviator and am trying to find a current group to communicate with and am hoping this might be the group. It would seem like there would be an Aviator group somewhere, although the "pool" of members is less than 70. :-(

This is us. I’m not aware of another group.

We sometimes show up in conversations about fiberglass trailers or in other places but as you have noticed, this is a very elite (and small) owners group.

Not many. We will see soon. Those that are active have alerts set to new activity in this forum.

There was a thread attempting to locate everyone here. That's more than 10 years old now so I'm not sure how many of us are still around.

This is not a group, it’s a thread. You can create a new group. Check here ==> https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo....php?do=create .

I still have my Wright Flyer but it there have been so few posts on the Aviator forum I haven't been on the site very often lately. I'm not sure either how many owners from the original list are still around although I do know that several have moved on. Like Saltsman said, we are the only dedicated Aviator forum there is and this is the best place to get any Aviator questions answered.

Thanks for sharing those pics. Beautiful rig. Our family has camped most of my 63 years and I thought I pretty much was familiar with most rigs available but never saw or knew about the Aviator. Great to learn something new on a cloudy Friday morning. Enjoy that nice rig.
