2015 FR3 washer/Drier + more

Hey guys, I'm new to this vacational RVing world and I did want to do it as comfortable as possible. I've done quite a bit to my FR3 already, Is my 1st owned RV and after renting lot different ones due to my work I got some awesome ideas for mine. pics attached.
Mayor changes:
-Adding washer/drier unit in the back storage area ( I know storage sucks in the FRs but I did feel safe washing my stuff on my own dirt) no offense, I'm as close to a germphobic as you can get without being one.

-BBQ slide with additional Gas Inlet. Click image for larger version

-added a 42" 4K TV in the same place as the already installed 32". No need to change brackets or mount, fits snug.

-placed the existing 32" in the wall of the TV facing the front of the RV

-changed the countertops to granite which was a mistake as they are way too heavy, I should've looked for a imitation in plastic.. But it's done and I love my mistake.

- for the best part!! Storage!! My dad came with an incredible idea of using the bunk bed as storage area.. I'm not planing having 8 people sleeping in. Took the wall with the mirror and.. Please See the pics, hard to describe, better to see than to write ( I'm foreign)

-Added a Winegard automatic satellite which works amazingly while you are driving, passengers can watch Direct Tv! and great while you are camping too.

-All those random squares on the wood everywhere are "wannabe" storage holes. Well I granted their wish.

So for my future ideas I'm Still planning to do the 2nd AC in the master Bd and checking if adding a 50amp wire just to use when hooked up to an external source and leave the 30 just for generator use! ( of course not both at the same time).

I bought my 2015 FR3 at Roon Hoover RV in Galveston, Tx and they've done everything I've asked them for, can't be more thankful to this guys. Their way to tell you if they can do it is what makes me keep adding things. "Everything is possible. Only time and money are required"

I've tripped the beaker once and I was really asking for it. 3 TVs on, washer on, and AC full on. Was the resorts breaker though which was quite weird.. But glad it happened as I'm finding the limits now.

Hope this helps anyone out there. And I'm happy to answer any questions.

Greetings From paradise.

Great ideas! Really liked what you did above the Fridge and Microwave. I was thinking of mounting spice racks in those places, but your "cubby hole" storage adds even more space!

Thanks, from the beginning I knew storage was going to be a major issue, but I saw a lot of potential in many places. Even below the bed which is basically a large hole which is not being used. I'm planing on putting some jacks so I can easily lift the mattress and board and expose hat "hidden" storage.

Great pics. Just wanted to point out something I learned the hard way. It has to do with your washer. On first blush, it seams like a good idea until you go to use it.them you relive unless the campsite has a sewer hook up you will be very limited on w
How much you can wash and still shower, wash dishes, potty etc.same with potable water if you boondock. Just my 2 cents worth.been there done that.lol

Hi. Thanks for sharing. Did you install your washer/dryer in the aft storage unit on the drivers side of your FR3? Is it a ventless one? I was looking for options inside mine - never considered installing outside storage. Very smart.

And did you need to beef up the flooring under the washer/dryer to support the additional weight?

Very true, it does use some space on the Grey tank but this specific one is very efficient. Splendide 7100xc capable of washing up to 15Lbs and dry 11. I usually load about 10-12 at the most. Daily wash mostly.

I'm only intending on going to places with hookups too so, that's easier on my side. But def wouldn't recommend for those who won't.

Thanks

Madelyn, this is a Ventless version, very efficient, installed On the copilot side. It does take a lot of the already limited space of the FR3, but is worth every inch from my point of view.

It's such a clever idea - I'm sold on - beats the Laundromat any-day. I couldn't figure out how to put in a W/D until I saw what you did.
Did you reinforce the floor in anyway before installing yours?

Has its own independent breaker but runs with the 30AMP system. I'm going to add a 2nd A/C so I'm upgrading the whole system to a 50AMP too.

Haven't had any issue at all. Even with all 4 TVs on, W/D A/C and microwave. Was really testing the big boy.

I did make some structural changes as the weight over time could become and issue, is still below specifications though but did it for the future. I put some supports to the chassis in that sector and some wooden supports to keep the machine from moving when driving.

Just curious. On those spaces above the fridge and microwave, did you just knock out paneling piece?

Did you TV mount open up of from the side? Mine opens up. I have measured the width of a 39 inch and it would block the cabinet door.

How did you keep it from bouncing around? Did you have to reinforce the floor?

I love the idea ( I am a germaphobe myself)
