2017 FR3 32DS Doggie Window

Has anyone installed a small window in front of the passenger seat for the dawgs to look out of? I'm checking with FR to see if they can tell me WHAT is behind the side wall in this area.

Won't the interfere with the passengers legs when sitting there.

I asked Forest River about the addition of of a small window and this is what I just got back:
My name is Jeff Hood and I am the east coast warranty contact for FR3. We really do not have anything in that lower corner of the sidewall where you would see a window put in. You should be OK to do that.

Now to start looking for a small window to go in that area, anyone have suggestions??

Many Semi tractors have a window in that area on the passenger door. Maybe investigate that. A good auto glass shop would be a place to start.

Check these folks out...they make replacement and custom windows for RVs. I've never used them but one of my future upgrades are windows, so I found them doing research on it.

Thor puts windows there, they call it a birds eye window. Check with a Thor dealer about getting a window.

I believe the ACE 30 series has a window there. Might want to contact Thor.

When we were looking at the FR3 and ACE back in 2013 they both had the pet window. The 2014 Coachmen Pursuit we went with also has one. We ended up putting a inside cover over it for night time and if there is alot of traffic around or the one dog goes nuts barking at everyone that goes by.
