Does anybody knows what improvements or new features were added in model year 2017 ?

Have you tried Googling 2017 FR 3? I found a lot of information.

Yes I tried, but didn't find any difference with 2016 MY.

There's a vent on the generator compartment and the Pioneer system pre-set for Sirius, Spotify, duap blue-tooth, Pandora and others from what I can tell so far on the 2017.

It seems FR monitors this forum, or at least reacts to feedback. I was shopping for a 30DS since fall, and I noticed several improvements to the very same systems I was noting as issues on this forum. The A/C is now 18,000 BTU, Blistein shocks, added 110 outlets, to name a few.

You sent an email to FR?
... or to the FR3 division?
... or to FR3 Sales?
... or to ??

FR is a pretty big company. I've had better luck sending emails to the lowest level entity responsible for my question/concern.

EastonFloyd, correct. Now we have to truly distinguish the difference between 2017 versus late 2016 (sec gen) platform for those looking to buy. Again, the late 16 also has 18,000 btu. I ran that in high humidity, 95 degree heat 3 weeks ago and it performed very well. I did supplement the AC with reflectix in front and back windows along with camco vent pillows however.

to date i see no difference in late 16 and 17.
