2021 FR3 Satellite Prep?
The 2021 FR3 wiring diagram shows that it's pre-wired for satellite under a cap on top of the roof above the passenger seat. I'm not anywhere near mine now so does anyone know if this is true or not?

I can't answer the question (still waiting on my delivery) but was wondering where you got the schematic and is there a detailed version of the 2021 electrical system also?

I got it from the Forest River page in the section with the owners manuals. I looked and didn't see a schematic of the electrical system. I did however get an answer to my question on another forum and there is indeed a satellite prep on the roof of the 2021 FR3s. I bought a Dish Playmaker and I'm hoping that it will work with that wiring.

Thanks for checking on that. Here's an overhead view of the 2021 re-design. Am I seeing a little spot just above the driver's head that might be the prep? Or is it built into the LTE/Wifi/ extender dome further aft?

It's the little bubble above the driver. Looks like it was sealed in pretty good.

I was lucky enough to find one on RVTrader that showed as "coming soon " to the dealer. I contacted the dealer and it had just arrived on their lot, so I initiated the online purchase of it and ended up driving from Northern California to Southern California to get it. I bought it on December 23rd. It was my gift from me to me!

Was it a 34DS that you were looking for? I just noticed one is supposed to be headed to the dealer where I bought mine, not that I recommend them, but it may be an option for you.

Ahh, thought it was a 34. Can't you just get a 30DS off a lot, there are some of them out there?

Haven't seen any and definitely nowhere near the price I got. Been waitng since late Dec and would have to give up my deposit so I guess I'll keep waitng. LOL

Bringing this thread back to life. Posted pictures over on my 2021.5 30DS thread. Doing my Dish Tailgater install today and I can't find the other end of the RG6 cable that's on the roof. Hooked to satellite fine but where does that wire terminate inside the motorhome? Model is the 30DS with the main TV above the kitchen sink.

I tried. It's so tight with no slack I can't get it out more than a half inch without possibly breaking something. Lots of electrical connections and circuit boards back there. That cable has to go there though....there's really nowhere else that makes any sense. Gonna get my little flexible camera in there tomorrow and see if I can see more.
