Thanks Barry. It was a pleasure talking with you. I really appreciate all your help with the various issues.
Regarding the switch....
I looked and did not find the switch. I composed a post saying so.
Before hitting "Submit Reply", I decided I better go back and make sure, so I do not look like an idiot. Again no switch.
Again, before hitting "Submit Reply", I decided that I should include what I did find in the cabinet.
This time I went out with a flashlight and noticed that the black antenna plate, in a dark colored cabinet, had some writing on it. Antena plates from Home Depot do not have writing on them! Looking at the writing, it was Winegard logo.
Oh, so this must be the switch. But there is no switch. Looking really closely at the plate, I could finally see two black columns poking out with text underneath them. Those are the elusive switches!
They are labeled: Antena Amplifier power and WiFi Amplifier Power. When you press them, a green LED turns on.
With the WiFi Amplifier Power switch on, the Winegard unit has power.
If it had not been pointed out to me, I would have never found it, especially when both LEDs are off.
Thanks Barry for your help.
