What is the correct tire pressure?
The label inside shows 82 PSI, the Goodyear tire recommends 110 PSI.

Its based on the Goodyear loading chart. Look on Page 2, bottom two rows. I think we're 245, just double check. You'll notice there isn't a value below 80PSI, which means that is the minimum you can run. 82PSI is what FR recommends based on GVWR I believe. Just take your rig before you go out on the road to a truck stop with CAT scales, pull up and tell the lady your in for your 1st weigh for a private vehicle. Make sure you axles are on different pads. Then you'll pull around when your done and go in and pay for your ticket. Take that number and use this table to look up your correct PSI. If you put on different tires than those Goodyears down the road, it'll be totally different. You'll probably be surprise to see your rear axle will be close if not over weight if you carry any water in your tanks. I usually run 85 on the front and about 90 in the rear. Add a little safety margin...too high and the ride quality will be harsh. And the 110 PSI on the sidewall is a MAX tire pressure. By no means a recommendation from Goodyear.

Glad I spotted this. My bunk stop working this weekend. I'll look for that fuze. Why aren't all the fuze descriptions and locations provided to the owners?

I've had to clean my toilet supply line 3 times so far in the 13 months I've owned our new 2015 30DS. Other threads here have indicated it is caused by a naturally deteriating hot water heater anode debris being sucked into the cold water supply line. It was suggested a backflow valve be installed to prevent it. I changed our anode and flushed the hot water tank. Shortly thereafter... Same problem. Going to flush it again. Although relatively easy to clean out the supply line filter, this is rediculous.

What do you define as a "little" water? Ours has around an inch of water left in the tank when it is drained. It is water we could use when dry camping! The design should have the exit tube on the bottom of the fresh water tank, not on the side!

In our 2015 30DS, the 3 fan wires (LR, BA and BR) are all wired into the ceiling lights. Why they are not independent is weird.

It is virtually impossible for debris in your water heater to make its way to your toilet. Don't waste any more time with that line of thought.

Any alternative suggestion where the sandy like crap comes from? It looks very similar to the material on the anode rod. And it looked similar to all the crap that came rushing out of the hot water tank when I first drained it. The output line from the fresh water tank is about an inch above the bottom of that tank, so I doubt it is tank sediment... Unless there's about an inch of sediment in the fresh water tank. The clogging material is not hard plastic, but like a sandy grey and white material. HELP?

The bunk fuse is next to the house batteries. It's a 10amp.

You can move the pump suction to the tank drain. See here:
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...pty-84380.html
There are some other threads where folks have moved the suction to the drain.

Apparently not on my FR3 30DS.... There are 3 connected to the battery + post:
15 amp - blue wire - awning
25 amp - green wire - stairs
5 amp - blue wire - ?
All 3 fuses were not blown.
There are two more inline fuses that are switched:
5 amp - blue wire - LPG detector
5 amp - red cover - ?
So, no 10 amp inline fuses. At the suggestion of my dealer today, I plan on opening up the Basttery Control Center on the I-Beam near the house batteries.

I think your link is not to a FR3 fresh water tank. My fresh water tank low drain point outlet (blue in color) is about as high as the output to the pump... Maybe the suggested curved pipe sticking further down might work though. I've got to wonder why the tank wasn't built with the outlet on the bottom of the tank to empty it fully... Here's a pic showing the low point drain on the fresh water tank in a 2015 FR3 30DS. Notice it is over an inch from the bottom of the tank. The output to the pump is about the same hight from the bottom.

This is a question for the FR 3 rep. Will the 2017 models have 50 amp service or 2 AC units? Thanks

Hello Eric. I'm considering a 2016 or 2017 FR3 30DS, wondering if there are any substantial changes between the model years. Thanks for your help.

2014 FR3 coming apart
We have owned our FR3 for two years now. Last year there was a terrible clunking noise coming up from under the passenger seat. I took it to the Ford dealer because it sounded most like a chassis noise from the shock tower. They had nothing to report. I have climbed under that thing 20 times and could not find the problem, even took the shock off and tried to eliminate the noise with no luck. We just set out for a trip to spring training listening to the stupid noise and 35 miles into the trip went over a fine California overpass that jarred everything in the rig. The noise went away. We soon found there was a 1" separation between the floor and wall located where the small foot window is at passenger side. You can see the wall moving up and down against the floor when driving now. In looking at the gap I can see no where that the wall is affixed to the floor except clear back by the entry door. In addition the windshield is cracked over that same area. I'm thinking the movement has something to do with it. It's at La mesa now awaiting a fix. Those Einsteins cant do anything with out some sort of Forest River blessing. Whats it going to take to fix this?
