Awning Issue - Is it torn or melted...

We're out this weekend enjoying an RV Park in the Bakersfield, CA area. The Orange Grove RV Resort, RV parking spots within a working Orange Grove.

Earlier today, it was getting a little windy, so I went out to check the awning to see if I had to pull it in. I noticed (picture #1) the sun peeking through. I then rolled the awning in and took another picture. (picture #2).

I don't believe I hit anything that would cause this damage. It really looks like the awning has melted.

Your thoughts..?? Do you think it would be covered under my warranty..??

I agree, looks like it melted due to some chemical or something. What you need to do is get some vinyl patch, something you can brush on.

It does not appear to be a structural issue. Just need to patch so it does not leak when it rains..
