Awning will not work

I have a 2016 FR3 28ds with an awning that will not extend or retract. I checked and still replaced the fuse - still wont work. I tried looking for a wiring diagram for the switch due to it having five wires not four. I can due basic wiring but when they through in extra wiring it gets out of my depth. But if I have a wiring diagram with the ohms and or amps I can work it out.
Does any one have or know where I can find this diagram? Thanks in Advance!

David, First things to do is get your ladder and voltmeter, take the connection apart at the motor, check for voltage while your helper is holding the switch, trying to run the awning out or in. If nothing, check at the switch for voltage. Just keep on tracking the voltage. Could be a pinched wire in the awning framework, could be inbetween. One other spot to check, do you have a remote control device for this awning? Perhaps it was turned off on it. Those things toss some weird conditions sometimes.

Assuming you have power to the motor it is common for the gears to corrode and bind. There is a rubber plug that allows access to the manual bolt you can turn to open the awning. My plug was missing so I sprayed WD40 in there and ran the awning out with a drill a couple of times. I put tape over the access hole and it has worked great since. Good luck.

You can also check if the motor is good by using a 12 V battery by using some jumper cables and attach them to the awning motor. This video is pretty decent explaining how to test your motor.

Mine stopped. I have a CC 36CKTS.

Check to make sure the motor is plugged in.

I had the same issue on our FR3 30DS about 6 months after we got it. I took the control panel off by the entrance door and the electrical connector had fell off! Take a look, good luck!

Thanks to all for responses. I'm surprised no wiring diagrams. I fixed airplanes and I'm use to using wiring diagrams.

The previous FR3 SDC107 dwg is from 2013 here is the SDC107 2016 FR3 dwg. It may or may not reflect your model.

Are you saying there is 5 wires independently connected directly to your switch?
