Cab heat

We took our 2014 fr3 ds25 out this winter and the passenger side is warm but the driver side will freeze your feet. Any ideas

Had the same issue on my Georgetown. I thought it was built without a heat vent for the drivers side. Looked under the dash and they had mounted the vent facing the outside wall. I unattached it, rotated it to where it would hit my feet and reattached it. Made a huge difference.
Hope this helps.

Same with our 30DS. I haven't investigated it yet, but I got to thinking while I was installing our CB. If you look under the driver side floor, I think I remember there just being a sheet of steel instead of some plywood. So I wonder if that has something to do with it. Granted, the overall heater output isn't much. Also wonder if we could tape off the outside air intake so its restricted to take in the cabin air. I'm curious if anyone knows more.

I just ended up driving with socks on, generator running, and with a space heater up front. Made it tolerable for our trip over xmas.

I was pretty sure MAX AC really means recirculating as opposed to FRESH or outside air. Mines always been plenty warm.

I run my heater with max ac setting until it gets too hot, then I switch to the other setting to cool it down with fresh air

Thumbs up

Thanks Grotto. I don't think I've knew difference between MAX and normal AC mode. Made me look it up and seems like your correct. I'll have to give it a try.
