Coach audio

Hi all I hope this is a dumb question with a quick answer. We don't use the coach stereo system much I think I can count 2or3 time (2015) other than the outside tv. This year I push the power button and nothing happened. I am not very techy but come on!

Did you check the fuses?
Do the other 12 volt items in the RV work?

It would help if you posted year, make and model of RV since you don't have it listed in your profile.

Is there a remote? Did you try that?

I know it's a silly question but my RV (it's an older model) audio system really only works well with the remote. When you touch the buttons all sorts of wonky things happen.

You'd think they would work that kind of thing out eventually.

Sorry I thought I did it's a 2015 FR3 30DS. It worked last year. But this year I have been trying everything I can think of and I did check fuses and remote

Did you check to see if you were getting power at the head unit?

Have you tried to just turn up the volume? or checked if it is on mute?
That's all I have other than slap your hand on the side of it a few times like we have to do on our computers now and then, right?

The fuse for the head unit is the same one that the window shade is on, so if your shade works you don't have a fuse problem. On mine the yellow wire (12V power in) on the wiring harness pulled out. When I pushed it back in it worked intermittently but eventually I had to replace the harness. Only 16 wires to solder.

In addition to the power button on the unit itself, there is a rocker switch labeled "Radio" at the bottom of the center console.

Are you trying to listen to music inside or outside? On the main audio/video panel (AWM968) you have the ability to select which speakers you want the source to play from. On ours, A speaker is inside and B speaker is outside. Make sure on the audio panel either A or B is shown for where you want to listen otherwise no sound will come out.
