Coleman Roadtrip Gril

Has anyone connected a Coleman Road trip grill to their FR3 propane tank? I have read multiple sources and watch several videos saying it is possible and my husband still is having problems. If you have done it can you please give us simple step by step directions on how you did it? Thanks in advance!

They make a conversion kit to eliminate the regulator and run from the pre-regulated RV tanks. You can make your own with the correct fittings. Here is the kit(first one I found I am sure there is a cheaper source.

If you want to connect it to your RV low pressure QD connector with a Camco hose (PN 57282), here is the most economic way. However, if you chose to use this method use the "YELLOW" Teflon gas tape, not the white or pipe dope. The latter are not compatible with propane's chemical composition.

Did you figure it out? I did exactly that, and installed a T by the tank, and had my local gas guys make me a 15' hose, with quickconnects. I have pictures....
