Dead Pedal

Has anyone mounted/installed a "dead pedal" to rest your left foot on while driving? If so, how did you go about doing it?
Thanks.

I am investigating that very thing right now too. I will pass along my findings too. It may be a custom DIY item. Everything I see online is not practical. Id also be interested in seeing your responses.

I think I found what I plan to do after hours or searching for a factory item that probably does not exist.
I can't take credit for this idea but it is brilliant.

Find a suitable wheel chock from your local box store or amazon, an mount it directly to the floor. This version already came pre-drilled.

I once took a piece of 2x4 and trimmed it up and slid it behind the carpet. It worked perfectly.

This is a good idea. I found what looks like the exact one you pictured. For less than 5 bucks it's worth a try.

Forty years ago, I drove a BIG truck that had steering brakes in the same place.

Seat

I cut 2” out of the seat height and that made the hole driving experience better for our unit. I posted a picks and a how too months ago.
