Disconnecting the Angel Lights from the Awning Lights

I saw a thread a while back but I cannot seem to find it again. I just want to disconnect the Angel Lights on the front from the LED lights under the awning. Why would you have lights on in the headlights when all you want are lights under the patio? Anyway, is there an easy fix?

I hooked up a separate switch behind the passenger seat. I just hooked the awning to a separate hot wire and ground.

Disconnecting the Angel Lights from the Awning Lights

Older units it was the gray wire. I cut mine to the headlight LED's and wired the LED's to the Headlights so when they are on the LED's are on. When the Daylight running lights are on the LED's are on, but dimmer.

Sorry I didn't mention that under that plastic cover is where the wires for the awning lights are. I just didn't feel like drilling through the wall.

Are there two wires going to the switch on the dash? I don't really care for the angle lights so if there are leads for them and the awning lights it would be easy just to disconnect the ones for the headlights. Anyone check that out?
