Dometic Refrigerator cable???

I have a Dometic Refrigerator in my FR3. Inside there is a cable that can be relocated. Is this to regulate temperature for Frig or Freezer? If so, how does it work? See attachment

It is for regulating the temperature in the refrigerator. It’s called a thermistor and should be clipped to the right side of the evaporator fins. The higher it is the cooler it should get.
