Drivers side camera quit working

I have a 2015 FR3 30 DS. On a camping trip this past weekend, my drivers side camera quit. The passengers side and back camera still work fine. Several FR3 owners said to check the connections behind the radio panel, which I have now done, but, found nothing loose. Does anyone know the name/brand of this camera system and/or have you had to replace one of your cameras?

These are the part numbers from Forest River. I also have a 2015 30. You must take these part numbers to a local dealer and order them from them you cannot buy them directly from Forest River.

Thank you. If you replaced a camera, how hard was it to do?

Have not yet, but doesn’t look difficult. I removed from the side of coach and that was fairly easy.

Of course you have verified it is a bad camera by connecting it to one of the other camera inputs to the monitor.

I don’t know about depmgt, but mine is waterlogged and appears that way on the monitor.

If you saw water on the monitor it was not inside the camera it was in front of the camera lens. There typically is a screw on front lens cover (with "O" rings) with clear plastic lens and water will sometimes get inside that lens cover. The camera itself is a sealed unit. It may be similar to this. I think. Of course could be completely wrong.

You may very well be correct! I’ll have take a closer look. It appears to be clearing up with the warmer weather.
Thanks

The reason the camera quit is quite possibly that the wiring that plugs into the multiplexer has come loose.
The multiplexer is located behind the center console between the 2 front seats. When I had my FR3, the plug would come loose. It has 3 inputs, one for each camera

Just press it back in and you may have solved the problem.

Here is a picture of the multiplexer Forest River uses.

MV1 Cameras From Rear View Safety

The cameras on the 30DS are from Rear View Safety and when you order them let them know you need the long bolt version of the camera. They are about $119 each and install pretty easy. Just google Rear View Safety in NY.

I bought the cameras from Rear View System Inc (Backup and Driver's side) $119 with shorter screw. They work perfect. I RTV/silicone them to the wall, it holds very good.
