DVD player operation

I have a 2017 fr3 with a pioneer radio system trying to understand how to get the DVD player to work ?? Thanks

The Pioneer radio has an emergency brake interlock to see the DVD on the radio display.

Living Room TV is the only TV that will display the DVD from the radio. Use the TV remote to change the input to the RCA jack.

I purchased a MicroBypass AVH-X Video In Motion Interface for Select Pioneer Receivers after having to release & reset the parking brake to watch a DVD in the morning.

The problem was the jacks were down & they did an emergency retract.

It was like sticking a pin in a balloon.

I had to restart the engine to relevel the FR3. With the bypass I could just hit the okay button on the nag screen.
