I was adding some wires to the 4 wires which lead to the engine battery booster switch. I wanted a live circuit. Somehow, I think, I have shorted the booster battery switch as i no longer have 12v power on the brown and white wires .
Any clue... Is there a fuse? If so, where might be located.
your switch is not just a switch, it controls 12v power to a Solenoid, which may have a fuse block near it, which may have tripped or overloaded, etc. The Solenoid controls a 'connection' between the two battery banks, while you are holding down the switch.

Just today a member posted the wire diagram to the FR3, I don't really recall a fuse shown in that circuit. I could be wrong, but I like looking at them and FR did good with that one. You could have blown that whole block. It was under I think Georgetown. Hope that helps you should make a copy for your FR3. I was stunned that FR even supplied it. If I can find it again, I'll let you know and post it for you, I think I made a copy I will check...
Thanks for the diagram. I actually had a copy of that one. The only thing I see which seems related is a 5 amp fuse labeled "EMS - BROWN" / "EMS - EMERGENCY START (FROM BATT BOOST)" I'll recheck that fuse and advise.
Thanks. I checked the brown 5 amp fuse in the battery control center. Still good. But, then story got worse... ;-)
Me bad I guess... I checked the wires again... the booster switch had power - both incoming and when pressed! I guess I was half asleep when I first started working on this project. So, I changed my pos wire to the blue wire next to the brown wire and got my live 12v I wanted. But then stupid me... I crossed the two wires on an on/off switch I was installing... and poof, the dash radio I was listening to went dead. Oh great. I pulled the dash radio and checked the 2 amp fuse that was near the radio and the two 7.5 amp cigarette fuses - all good. There are a million wires behind the dash radio panel. lol
So... I'm back to my dilemma... where the heck is the fuse that apparently feeds the battery boost switch and apparently also the radio. I checked the engine compartment fuses and under the driver's seat, but so far, I'm not finding it. I need to find out what else doesn't work now.
I'm going to check the remaining fuses in the battery control center this am... and recheck all of the other fuses. Wish me luck. I attached a photo of the back of the battery booster switch.
Well, well... I'm back to normal I think. The fuse in the F9 position of the Battery Control Center was blown. When I replaced it, the dash radio came right back on.
I ended up running wires from the cigarette lighter over to above the headlight switch to provide power to the new power block I put in. I wanted to power my phone and GPS unit which are attached to the driver's side window w/o having cords running over the steering wheel and down to the cigarette lighter. I've attached two photos of my end result.
In the process, I did some research on the Battery Control Center and have attached my Notes and three .pdf items from their website which might be of use to another at some point in time.

Thanks for all your suggestions and help!
I like that power block you installed. Where did you get it?
