Engine doghouse cover

Ive been searching for a engine doghouse carpet cover for looks and to help with temp and sound proofing. (Ive already insulated the underside). I’m wondering has anyone made their own? Seems like there should be a market for this.

Are you looking for one to fit a 1999 E body?

Actually, you didn't need to state that it's an FR3, since you posted the question on the FR3 Forum. I've always wondered why some people post replies on this forum when those people don't have FR3's. Why are they even reading this forum?

What did you use for inside /underside? I am looking at doing dynapad on the outside with some sort indoor/outdoor carpet on top of that and custom center console. 2021 V8 FR3 30DS

Knowing I've raised someone's blood pressure makes my day. Being retired I don't have the target rich environment I had when working.

On my 2019 33DS FR3; I just installed Thermo Tec Suppressor Sound to the underside of the doghouse last week right over the top of the stuff FR installed.
My next project is to remove the seats, place a layer on the floor Thermo Tec Suppressor Sound. I purchased some carper (indoor/outdoor) color to match interior. I plan to install carper in the cockpit, and over the doghouse. I will carpet the doghouse separately so I can remove it.
This will have to be done by hand using spray adhesive, rollers and carpet tape. There is no premade kit

I will have more details and photos in 2 weeks watch this space

Looks good! Good Idea on doing the front floor under the seats. I was considering that as well but it's a big job!
