entry door problems - 2014 FR3

The bottom hinge of my entry door has stripped loose due to door slamming open. PO replaced the screws with larger screws but this has now stripped also. I tried putting in wooden matches for fill but that only lasted a day or two. Any ideas of next step? the door will not close now without a lot of pushing and struggling. I am think of filling the holes with epoxy and then re-screwing. What is the construction of the door?

Thank you

The doors are basically styrofoam sandwiched between two sheets of aluminum.

I'd give the epoxy a shot, but I'm not sure you can get enough behind the door structure to hold more than a short time.

You might want to call your dealer or service place and ask how they would approach the repair.

Thank you. I was hoping you would say there was a wood frame holding the styrofoam. The PO had replaced.the original screws with larger and they have held until now. I will install a limiter so the door does not slam open.
