Make and model number of fridge helps.

Norcold makes two models of the 1210 refrigerator, one is 120VAC electric only, the other is electric/gas. Read the refrigerators owners manual which came in your document package.

Even after using the stove to bleed the air out of the gas lines it could take a bit for the refrigerator to get a steady supply of gas depending on where the fridge is connected to the line.

Probably air in the line. It takes awhile the first time to light. Good luck

If it has a propane line connected that would solve the model question. Did it work ok when tested at home?

On my fridge I had to reset the fault a couple of times until the air was purged

As the others have said, the air purge is first. Once you are sure you have gas to the fridge the next step is the igniter. When my Norcold was new I had a problem with the air gap between the igniter and the burner. It sounded like it was firing, but there wasn't enough of an arc to ignite the gas. I determined that the fridge would light if I stuck a long nosed lighter in there on initial fireup, but the igniter would not relite the burner. I used a butter knife, (only thing I had), to increase the gap and whata ya know. Has been working without issue for 4 years. Obviously hadn't been properly checked prior to delivering the trailer. Dealer was helpful though on the phone in directing me to look there.

The DW always fires up the cooktop when we think it Is time for the gas fridge.

The cooktop is near the fridge.

Does work better on gas!

A bit of quasi-diagnostics....
Does the refrigerator work when you're plugged into shore power and operating on ac?
Have you checked to make certain that 'auto' is selected on the fridge? Some refrigerators allow you select ac only, propane only or 'auto' which switches from ac to propane when you disconnect from shore power?
Have you checked your breakers to make certain nothing has tripped? The refrigerator has an electric igniter and the breaker and house battery have to be working to get it to work. You 'may' be able to hear the igniter trying to start the refrigerator and if that's working, you probably have a problem with the propane line. (Stand outside the coach near the fridge vent to listen)
Sorry this is happening on your first trip out.

From the Norcold manual about air purge..

- If the air in the propane gas supply lines prevents the burner from ignition on propane gas, the fault codes “no” and then “FL” will appear in the center display and you will hear an alarm sound.
- Push and hold the ON / OFF button for one second and then release to silence the alarm. - Push the ON / OFF button to turn the refrigerator on.
- The refrigerator will start a 30 second trial for ignition.
- During the 30 second trial for ignition, the refrigerator controls open the gas safety valve and the igniter makes sparks.
- When no fault code shows and only the power indicator remains, this means that the refrigerator is operating on propane gas in the manual mode.
- At this time, all of the air is removed from the propane gas supply lines and you may select AUTO mode of operation if you wish.
- Depending on how much air may be in the propane gas supply lines, you may need to repeat the 30 second trial for ignition two or three times.
- If the burner does not ignite on propane gas after two or three attempts, stop and consult your local dealer or an authorized

This process will insure you have all the air out of the line.

1. TURN THE REEFER OFF---COMPLETELY OFF

2. INSURE NO FLAMES of ANY SORT are nearby in or out of the camper!! Furnace, stove and oven OFF.

3. From the outside, with the access cover removed, loosen the gas supply line until a bit of air leaks out. When you smell the propane, tighten the connection. Use soapy water to insure there are no leaks after tightening.

You have just completely purged the refer gas line of all air. After this if it does not light the gas supply is not your problem.

Some will say this is unsafe, if you are careful it is not unsafe at all.

Followed the solution in the manual for purging air with the on/off process.

When in doubt, read the manual.

Glad you found the solution.
