FR# 2015 25' new electric front seat install

Hi. I have replaced my manual front seat with electric seat from another Mortorhome. I had to bring 12 volts to it. The only problem is when I turn the seat toward the inside of the RV my 12 volts wire snap or tangle. What type of wire should I use or what would be the fix? Thanks

Would need to see a picture, to better answer but it would depend on where you are getting your 12V Power Source.

As for wire size need to know how many AMPs the seat pulls check that against

You can check this or any chart

Thanks for the on amperage. Actually its the last owner that changed both manual front seat to electric. He pull a wire from the dash he ran it on the side then went and connected it under the seat. The problem is that everytime I turn the seat toward the back if I don't turn it the right way the wire will get tangle and unhook. Also the chair when I pup the reclining it blows the fuses. He did not do a good job for sure and never tried it when I both it.

I have installed electric front seats as you have. I used a stop to prevent rotation past the limit counter-clockwise on the passenger seat (which is toward the window. The driver seat won’t rotate past the steering wheel (clockwise). I also put a loop in the wire so that it can extend to the points of rotation. It isn’t really possible to rotate the seats toward the window, on either side, so blocking the rotation isn’t a loss, at least not for us. I hope this helps.

Tks. What type of wire did you use and amperage? Where did you get your power from?
