FR3 29DS Service Question

I live near Nacogdoches, Texas. Need to do full service on our rig. When I called one potential service center, the guy was new at his job and he asked me if all the fluids (including transmission) can be accessed from the ground or would it have to be lifted. I had no clue. HELP!! And if it does have to be lifted, any clue who does that in this area?

You will need to look at FORD Commercial Vehicle Service Center, who could take care of the Warranties and Service of your FORD Vehicle

A few show on the FORD Website but you will need to check by calling if they will service your MH

Most everything can be done without lifting vehicle

I've called all three. One of them can only do oil changes and the 2nd said an oil change is around $300 estimated and he said I would have to bring the rig so they could see what type of transmission/fluid and other filters, belts, etc. That sounds like a $500-$700 service trip. I'll keep looking. Gotta be someone else who won't rob us. That one was the seconed one on this list. The third said they can do full service only up to 25 ft. Hmmm.

Im sorry to hear that
I am very surprised the Ford Service Center does not know the what type of transmission/fluid and other filters, belts there are

Anyway other thing I would suggest is schedule service around your next RV Trip, this would give you more choices as you travel to more populated areas. I plan to have my tires replaced on a trip from CA to AZ in AZ next year -

You could also do a google search for RV Mobile Repair Service and one would come out to you

Whatever you do I wish you luck -

The F53 chassis has a standard Ford V10 engine it. Any competent oil change place can do the service if they have doors big enough to get the MH in and a pit to work from underneath the rig. My full service change at a full service shop is around $160, including synthetic oil. Mirada 29DSSE

These guys say they do engine work and mantenance and have class A's in their lot. You shouldn't NEED a lift for the basics. https://nacogdochesmotorhomes.com/what-we-do/

Some Walmart's will change oil and filter if they have a door large enough .You should call ahead to be sure. But the oil on a V10 is easy enough to get under and change yourself if you have ever done an oil change before. You just need a pan or bucket to hold 7 quarts of oil.

FR3 Service

There's a MHC in Longview. They are big truck service centers and most will work on motorhomes (including warranty work). We have our's serviced at the one in Memphis. Basic oil change service is around $200. Just search mhc.com for locations and info. I also saw one in Houston.
