What are your dimensions of the pantry..?? I have a 2019 FR3 33DS and did some pantry mods. I posted some pictures on the FR3 forum. Here's the link to those pages.

I thought the same thing when we purchased our 30-DS. I noticed some motorhomes that have a slide out narrow pantry and that got me thinking about our narrow shelves. I’m currently fabricating sliding trays for each shelf to make access easier. I will attached pictures when finished, hopefully in another week or two.

I have a 19 x 30 pantry next to my fridge. I purchased a plastic 18 x 36 shelf system. I shorted it in the back by six inches to get 18 x 30 shelves.

Pantry

Your pantry looks wider than ours opening only 8.75 cause of hinge and door latch. When I can get back into it-very cold and snow mixed with rain- i will remeasure. We have a 2021 fr3 30. Is your a different year? Thank you so much for quick reply . Looks like your solved your pantry problem very ingeniously.

Talcottk, you are correct. The FR3-30-DS pantry is very narrow at 9" wide (minus 1/8" for hinge).

Attached are pictures of the sliding drawer I built for our FR3-30DS. It still needs to be stained to match the color of the cabinets.

Drawer Width = 8 1/2"
Drawer Length = 24"

Here's a link for an approach to modifying a narrow pantry in a Georgetown.

Project finished. Couldn't find a matching stain so I just went with paint.

My 2014 FR3-25DS "pantry" space was filled with a pair of Ikea shelving units. I placed some 1/2" wood across the bottom of the space to distribute the weight of the shelving units and the contents. I also placed a metal Rubbermaid shelf across the top of the shelving units with the lip pointing up to hold items during movement. Installation required the removal of the center board that is between the doors to permit insertion of the shelving frames. Anchor screws were placed across the base of the shelving frames into the 1/2" wood base. Bungee cords help keep the drawers from opening during travel. The "2015 temporary installation" can be removed for something more permanent in a matter of minutes.

Thanks for all,of your reply. I only hope I can do the same with our pantry. We also have a 2021 fr3 30. Pantry really needs these sliding shelves.

Can you send a list of materials used. From pics. I cant tell about metal slider or what's between the 2 sliders. 1/2 or 1/2 thick board for building drawers. I am at a complete loss.

Talcottk...I designed the drawers in AutoCad so I can print everything in pdf along with a material list. Look at the way the sliders are on the bottom of the pull out drawer/counter top extension. I used the same concept to allow for a bit more width on my drawer.

Might take a couple weeks, PA lifted the ban on private campgrounds May 1st so we’ll be camping most weekends. My wife still works full time until July so I’ll work on it during the week between camping trips.

Just one more problem with new fr3: no storage on back for sewer hose. Never had a trailer without one. What can we do to add one or store (yuck) it in a bag or box?

We had a 2017 FR3 30 DS and had the same issue and still have the issue on our 2020 Georgetown. There are several solutions. I placed a CAMCO brand sewer hose tube underneath and bolted it between the water compartment and electrical compartment. It worked well and kept it concealed. Some use the same product and mount to the frame by the bumper or in the LP Gas compartment across the frame rails. Some use a rain gutter and mount by the back bumper. Just have to see what is comfortable for you.
