FR3 Gas MPG

I would like fellow FR3 owners to respond to this Tread regarding the average MPG you get with your rig. My rig is a 2020 34DS and I just finally got all the tires properly inflated upon installation of steel valve stem extension and looking forward to getting back on the road. My previous experiences have been with Class C's and this is my first with a Class A. I have also installed a TPMS to be sure my tires stay properly inflated. I travel at 60 MPH tops, due to dingy restriction. I appreciate your time and assistance.

I averaged 7.2 MPG on a 2200 mile trip from northern California to Grand Canyon through Flagstaff, around Southern Utah and back. Lots of elevation in there. Driving down I5 in California from Northern Ca to Southern CA I got 7.9 MPG. Always carry around 1/3 tank of water with me.

Any average MPG reports should probably be accompanied with typical or average driving speed. Speed makes a big difference in highway MPG results.

I travel around 65 while towing a Nissan Juke and usually have 1/2 fresh water and get 7MPG.

Prior to proper inflation of tires, I was averaging 6.2 MPG towing a 2012 Cadillac SRX and full tank of water. Top speed 60 MPH. From what I have seen so far, I will reduce the amount of water I travel with.

OK You asked for it!!!
I have written down every gallon I have ever bought to date and logged every singe mile. Needless to say I am (currently) keeping a permeant record. So Im kinda excited I get to finally share something that I spend time colleting, my wife thinks i'm nuts. So dont judge me to hard.

2019 FR3 33DS
No Towing 65MPH Max
Properly inflated tires each time I go out
Typically drive with full tank of water & gas (rarely go below 1/2 full of gas)
Oil Changes & Maint (every 5,000) *yes that is me

Since purchased I personally
15,815 Miles Driven
95% California Freeways/Highways, one 2500 mile trip CA-MI-CA, rest city driving stop & go

Average 7.0 MPG
Best 10.4 MPG
Worst 6.5 MPG
Gas Spent $5,700
Gas Price Average $2.72 (lots of Gas Rewards, Costco & Midwest gas prices have kept costs that below $3.00 living in CA.)

Your Welcome

Holy C#@p, I never see 7 and usually get 5.5-6.8 mpg. Towing a Jeep Wrangler 4 door and trying to stay between 55-65. I was expecting better last fall when we went from PA to Chicago RT66 to Santa Monica and back along Interstate 70. My tires are 83 psi cold all around and I carry just barely a third tank of water. I do carry 3 large dogs and a wife, fencing stored in the Jeep.

If I know I will be camping where there is water within 30' of my rig I will drive it with water tanks near empty or with a few gallons for the toilet-but that is only few times a year, we mainly boondock

I get around 7-7.8 mpg driving at 59mph. If I drive 70 I get 6-6.5 mpg. That is with no toad, but pretty much loaded for traveling.

On a trip to Outer Banks with almost no speeds above 55 - we got 10 MPG.
We average about 7 MPG
On one leg in TN we got ~ 4 MPG in the hills going through 70 to 75.
We have a 2019 FR3 - 33DS with the V10.
1/3 tank of water - not too loaded up with stuff - two of us and no dingy or towing.
