FPO 1123, I showed your backslash to the wife, now she wants me to do it, looks great and sounds real easy to install..... You will love the outer banks, we don't live far from there no go to Ocrakoke island often, I don't believe they have ny campgrounds there and you can only get there by ferry, but Hatteras is really nice

We stayed at the KOA north of Cape Hatteras and it was real nice. We got the tile at Lowes and it is self sticking. The trim is light weight foam wood grain with a vinyl cover. The stuff stuck fine on the blotto but I had to add automotive grade double sided Tape for the top to stick. I used the same tape for the wood border.

I Noticed in the pic you have a blue clamp in the fridge doors. I've been looking for a door prop open device that holds the fridge doors open while parked at home. I do this to keep the fridge fresh and allow air flow. but would like to still hold the doors in place just slightly open. I suppose I could made a wooden dowel just slightly deeper than the fridge depth.

In my travel trailer the fridge had slots built in and came with. A plastic holder. Searched on Amazon but the reviews on most devices are very bad. That they either don't work or break.

So is that device a door open prop? If so where'd you get it?

We got it at camping world. I use two small Velcro tabs, one on fridge and one on the blue plastic so if the rv is not even it will still hold it open. When you move it the piece on the fridge stays and is not in the way. Also the Velcro is black so you don't really see it.

Not with mine. But I am not sure what should have come with it. I think I paid $4 for the device we use.

Most of our modifications have been adding shelves. (bedroom, kitchen over and under, by bunk, and bathroom) Wife needed a mirror for back of head - so we picked up a matching set of items (towel, swivel mirror, ring, and hook) - and used the existing holes. I added a coat hanger to entry closet so it is now used for coats, a container for wet shoes, Swiffer, and dust buster. Next project is front grill ... Check the C0nnd0r folder for pictures. Also thanks to all who gave us ideas and are in the background cheering everyone on!

Picked up my 2015 FR3 30 DS one month ago. So far I've added; bathroom shelves (Amazon.com Spice Racks), sewer hose holder over tank, wood dowels stained to match wod to support bed over cab (fell repeatedly on first trip), stop by bath mirror to keep door from hitting/breaking, hat rack, shower hooks, vent covers and other shelves throughout. Best (and most needed) was the grill insert.

Also, have you encountered any difficulty screwing into the outer walls? When I installed my inverter in the closet I hit what I suspect was he steel square frame. What mounts did you use for the hat rack. Very stylish.

Techno, I used short 1/2 black screws and plastic anchors. I guess I was lucky and missed any frame, though I did with one hole on the bathroom shelves.

As for the stain, I just chose a dark sample sized container at Lowes. It was either black walnut or dark oak. I looked at both and forgot which I chose, sorry. I used it all and didn't keep the can. I have to point out the supports as they really do hide. That's why I took the pic from the side to make them show up. Never plan to use the top bed anyway.

I really like the sewer hose storage. Looks like it is by the propane tank? Does it run all away across or how long is it?

Yes, it's mounted above the propane tank and reaches all the way across to the steps. Mounted with three six inch hose clamps to the metal supports.

Nice job on the bunk supports. I mad a set for our FR3 because on the way home from the dealer the bunk fell with every bump. I took a Phyllis driver and loosened both the magnets, pretty loose, lots of wobble in the magnets, and on out trip to Utah and back the bunk never once fell. So now the supports just hang out in the closet.
