FR3 Spare tire

Any one who owns an FR3 carry a spare tire? If so where an how is it mounted? Very nervous about traveling any more out of town without one. I have a 2015 FR3 25ds. Thanks

I don't have one but, Roadmaster has a spare tire carrier that attaches to the tow hitch. If you tow a vehicle, you are still able to insert your tow bar.

19.5 wheels and tires?

19.5 wheel torque is 150 to 165 foot pounds there of.

Not an easy chore.

Buy the tire, call road service to unmount and repair/replace.

I carry an unmounted spare in the rear pass through storage of my 30DS. It sits perfectly on the shelf in the middle of the storage area.

Made my own. From steel stock from Lowes. Mounts to a cross bar that connects to the trailer hitch. This is an un mounted spare to save weight. If I get a flat and call GS or Ford Roadside I would tell them to dispatch a truck capable of dismounting and remounting. This would save me the time of sourcing the replacement at highway robbery prices.

Turns out the size and make tire on my 30DS was not in stock at many local stores. So having the spare with me gives me piece of mind. And it doesn't take up space in the pass thru.

Looks good. Can you share a picture of how you mounted it to the hitch? Thanks
