FR3 Towing - stowing the tow bar

What's the best place to stow the tow bar, chains etc when your at camp? I've seen some guys put them in the trunk of the tow car, others use compartments in the RV and some folks just leave them on the hitch. Are there any novel solutions or mods that FR3 owners came up with?

When I purchased my Blue Ox tow bar (in 2006), it came with a cover for the tow bar, and a storage bag for the chains and cables. I leave the tow bar attached to the RV and put the cover on, and store the extras in the bag and put it in the RV storage. Works good for me.

Exactly what we do. We have a hitch lock so the tow bar can't be removed. I also pull the pin attachment for the tow bar off the base plate. We were told that these are the #1 items stolen if left on the tow vehicle.
