Hopefully, simple operation ? On D.C. Power.

FR3 30DS 2013.

IF plugged into shore power, and I flipped OFF the cabin batteries swt by the door, Would I still have D.C. Volts in the cabin from the shore power inverter?
Or would killing off the batteries shut off the D.C. In the cabin?

Your converter should still supply 12V power.

So, hooked up to external power, and the cabin batteries disconnected, I should still have D.C. Lights!
Great, was not sure which way that worked!
Now curiosity is answered!
