With the stock water heater you can turn the 'electric' part on with a switch on the outside through the heater cover. Then if you run the generator or are plugged into shore power you get increased heating power!

hot water tank

PS. Dont forget to check our Anode rod. it doesnt last as long as we think it might. Just a little side bar on the hot water tank issue. lol Just one more important thing to check.
