Once again, nothing IN the floor. So look under the bus, if it's clear, you're good.

We have a small W&P toy hauler. It came with flat disc that I screwed to the floor. The table legs just insert into the dis an with a 1/4 turn lock down. I’d look for something along this line.Click image for larger version

That is the same plat used on pontoon boats for tables. I also use the same plate on my pontoon for both my table and the pole for my grill. Very sturdy and works grate.

A 3 inch hole saw will do the trick. So would a 1/4 inch drill bit, your choice.

ID:	167397. We used a 2 and 3/8 hole saw ... It went through the lino flooring through a sheet of plywood... And then some styrofoam .. there was a thin layer under that .. that we did not go through.. it s very easy to feel the layers and when you are passing through each one.

We then dropped the plate on and screwed it onto the floor. The table top measures 16 x23. We offset the table plate by an inch in each direction... So that if we need more room to get around its only a matter of swiveling the table.. turns out it's perfect as is. Also when the table is in one direction we can use it for driving.. if we use it in the other direction we can use it to eat meals while sitting in the captain chairs. It's also awesome when both chairs are turned and used as living room chairs... The clear coat is still drying... But when it's hardened good we will be installing two cupholders.

We really like this mod ...

That looks great!

Trying to finish a similar project with the above floor mounting.

Am just as concerned about drilling into the floor as you were since we have to install two separate amounts for the large table we have.

I wish our table was smaller than yours because we will have to take our table out when we are driving since it is so much larger.

Seeing your results, much more inclined to move to a flush mount.

If you off centre your table you can turn it a few inches to help get in and out

One caveat- supporting the foam, OSB and final fllooring is a grid of 1" sq. Aluminum tubing. If you cut one you could end up with a sag in the floor. Can be located by dropping the exterior protection cloth. You'll find the foam within the alum framing.

I would like to cut a hole in the floor

I dont see aluminium sheeting... You don't have to go that far..... When you feel it get really easy you've hit the foam... To take the drill out .. remove the wood plug.. and from there you can see the foam... You don't have to go any deeper than what you need... So you won't hit China... This is not that hard folks..

Ok f you do hit the sheeting. Put some glue in there to keep it up... Still not a big deal
