Interior and exterior led lights.

I wanted to ask if I will need to re solder the lose wire on the attached pictures or just buy new housing to replace light?

I just replaced the entire fixture when the diodes started burning out. The bottom picture is the exact original fixture in my 2015 30DS. I had 11 of them. I’ve been replacing them with these. 5 Pack RV LED Ceiling Double Dome... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0733RQDXL...p_mob_ap_share

I replaced my original ceiling lights with two-mode lights. I bought the two mode LED lamps from Amazon:
AutoEC LED Dome Light, 2 Color Mode 12V LED RV Ceiling Dome Light Fixture, Interior Replacement Light for RV, Trailer, Camper, Motorhome, Boat
2 Mode Fashionable Design --- The Dome Light with on-off-on switch, can change the color from pure white to warm white, give you different feel. Warm white light output provides a cozy illuminated environment just like home. I have six installed & control the color mode with a wall switch. It only draws 5 Watts and provides total 1000 lumens of brightness.

My FR3 in White Light.

My FR3 in Warm Light

I have six installed & plan to replace more.

I also replaced all of my original ceiling light on our 2016 30DS with the same LEDs for the same reason, they started losing diodes on a number of them. I also went a step further and added window tinting material to certain fixtures (i.e. over the living room seating area and the fixture over the head of the bed area). I just went by the local window tinting business and asked for some scrap material in various tint levels and cut a piece to lay into the lenses assembly. Give it a try, it works very well.

Great idea! I’ve got some scraps from doing my windows. I’ll try that, especially over the head of the king bed.
