Koni Shocks

I might say, I was a little skeptical ordering the Koni FSD shocks so I only ordered the front to see how the ride quality is. Needless to say, the stock Blistens with 5,000 miles are in the trash. Before, I'd hear every dish in the RV rattle as I went over every grasshopper in the road. But now, if you put cruise control on and lift up your feet, you wouldn't know you hit the bump. Obviously, the larger ruts I'd hit, you'd feel them, but not as bad as it was before. Anyways, thought I'd just recommend them to whomever has lost their fillings so far with the stock shocks. Can't believe how rough they were. Now its time for me to order two more for the rear.

Also, its 28MM socket, large crescent wrench (for the lower LH side), impact gun, torque wrench (mine went up to 250 ftlbs), and some spinach.

Cheers,
Mike

Good information, Mike. I'm changing mine out when I returning from our next trip. At that point we'll have about 8,000 miles on the stock shocks. 8,000 miles too many.

I too just installed both front and rear Koni shocks on my FR3 DS25 and I must say we too were skeptical about spending $600 + on shocks but after a ride over the rough roads around my house I must say it's money well spent! Between the Blue Ox True Center, the CHF and the Koni shocks, it rides and drives more like a SuV!

I installed the Koni's after our first trip and haven't looked back. They make a huge difference!

Anyone know what the collapsed length and fully extended length of the shocks are? I'd like to know cuz then that open up all kind of shock options, like maybe rancho, fox shocks etc.

Wayne,
We just ordered our Koni shocks. Will let you know the lengths when they come in.
