For anyone who just purchased a 30DS check the passenger side ceiling of the rear pass - thru storage compartment, I just found a ladder for the front overhead bunk strapped there! Be careful unbuckling it you can get kunked in the head (I know). When we took delivered of our unit the dealer did not know it was included so we bought a ladder at the dealership (which is a litter nicer since the treads are deeper and it's weights about half of the FR supplied one.

For our 2015 FR3 30DS we didn't get a latter for the front over cab bunk.😕where can I get my grubby hands on one?

We negotiated one from the dealer but I can't wait to check now and see if there is another one hiding in the storage compartment. :-)

I take it you did not receive one with your FR3 what was your build date?

Jenny. You should have received from the dealer FR paperwork that shows the build date. If not, send Travis an email with the last 7 digits of your VIN. He should be able to give you that info.
BTW. We did not get a ladder with our 2014 30DS. 😤

The build date should be listed on the tags affixed to the wall just to the left of the driver’s seat
I will try to post pictures of the ladders and the attachments points in the storage compartment.If the weather ever turns nice here... 1 to 3 inches of snow is forecast for Friday.

Also does your FR3 come with brackets to use a ladder on the overhead bunk.

the one I eventually purchased has a build date of 10/2/14 the first one we were planning on buying had a build date of 10/27/14. the odd thing is that the 10/2 had the one tone dark interior and the brackets (new additions to the FR3) whereas the 10/27 still had the two tone interior and no ladder brackets installed.

Ours doesn't have one in the pass through area but we had the dealer order one and negotiated that in the sale.
