Lavatory ceiling vent electric
For the 2019 FR3 30DS. Does anyone know if the lavatory ceiling vent is pre wired for a fan? Our unit did not come with a fan. Would like to add a Hing’s Vortex ceiling fan but I can not find anything about electric.

Take out the 4 screws, drop the inner liner and take a look to see if there are wires there.

X2 on looking only takes a few minutes and you can make sure they are powered while you are in there.

We bought our 30DS back in March and it was NOT wired for a fan in the bathroom. The dealer installed a fan for us and connected it to the ceiling light. That works fine for us.

I had the dealer install a Fan-Tastic Fan in each of my ceiling vents. The installer said the wire was under the vent trim.
I have four Fan-Tastic Fans with vent covers.

I removed the trim from the vent but did not see any wires. There is 2” wide metal that goes around all 4 sides. Might be behind it but I did not want to bend it to much until I know that it is definitely pre wired. If you wire to the ceiling light won’t the light have to be on when you want to use the fan? Looks like will need to run wire from the light switch where I can get hot all the time to the fan.

That is correct, but that's okay for us. We only use the fan as an exhaust when we are in the bathroom.

The fan wire is behind the metal trim. Ours wire comes from the back, closest to the 12v electrical fuse panel. The bathroom light is on the front side. We can run the fan when the light is off.

I was able to use my front phone camera to shine in the opening in the metal trim to see the wires back there... Screw driver might be enough to grab em!

Depends on how the lights are wired.
I has a SOB (some other brand) the wires to the light(s) were hot and the switch completed the ground circuit. You 'may be able to find a ground somewhere near what you are trying to accomplish.

I recently put two Heng fans in ours but not the bathroom. They work pretty well to move air.
