List of fuses

Can anyone tell me how many and what size fuses I need to have with me while using the FR3 on trips?

I bought a set from 5 through 30 amp at the auto parts store. I haven't seen one over 25 amp on the rv yet, but I haven't seen them all yet.

The flat ones. You can get a set with a fuse tester and puller at most auto parts stores.

Blew my A/C fuse today. Found the house fuse box and see the fuse is tripped. I never replaced a fuse. What should I do? Madelyn

If you mean that the breaker is tripped, you should pull it down all the way to reset it and then pull it up all the way to turn it back on.

Yes it was the breaker. I just read and learned the differences between the two when I saw your post. And you my friend told me how to reset the breaker. I did and my A/C is running once again. I can't thank you enough.

@Madelyn, if on your model, you have a split breaker where the AC 20 amp shares the same breaker as the 30 amp house, the AC tends to trip the breaker when its over 90F or so. This is because it gets warm sitting next to the house breaker. My AC (30DS) has done the same thing several times and I've been meaning to split it off the dual breaker setup that it currently has. Food for thought.

KansasFR3 that is my set-up. Until if ever I do separate the breakers, I have purchased a small 6" fan that seems to do the trick. I lift the breaker panel door sit the fan in
front of it and let it run. No tripping since I started with that. There is an outlet right next to my breakers so it's very convenient.

Personally I replaced all the 12v fuses in my unit with the appropriate sized auto reseting curcuit breaker.

Need not worry about fuses again.

I see that those are used in my FR3, but only in the fuse slots for the slide rooms. Haven't ever had any fuse problems, yet.

How hard would it be to do that? Move the breaker? How do you do it? My AC breaker gets very warm when temp and humidity is high (over 90 for both) and breaker trips every other day or so. I am starting to worry that this shouldn't be happening even though everything seems to work just fine as long as the weather is not too hot.
Leaving here for cooler climate as soon as possible.
