I keep blowing the inline fuse on drivers side using the Garmin GPS. Not sure why they blow, seems random, but I did wonder if it was when I hit a bump in road.
Anyway I would suggest you pull out dash (six screws) find the inline fuse and untangle and stretch the wires so the fuse can be reached from under the dash. I relocated mine so it is easy to locate and bought a box of 15 amp fuses. Have replaced many so far. Must be the GPS unit as passenger side, wife's cellphone etc. has not blow a fuse yet. Pain in the neck but the only other thing to do is put in a heavier fuse which I am not comfortable doing.
