Low Point Drain ?????

Just picked up my FR3 and due to the weather I have not been able to acclimate myself to the exterior.

Does the low point drain have a Petcock or a nylon plug, if so is it located on the right side undercarriage by the low point drain decal. Thanks for reading the newbie question.

Should be plugs on low point drains and should be located by decal. Petcock would be on your fresh water tank drain. That's the way it is on the 38FL.

Good luck,
Don

On my 2016 30ds there are three drain tubes under the coach located at the low point drain decal. One, with no cap but a screen mesh on it, is the fresh water overflow, another is the fresh water drain that is capped with a pvc fitting, and the third is the low point drain also with a pvc cap on it.

Additionally, if you only have one low point drain line and if you set your winterization water heater valves to the winterization configuration you will drain both the cold and hot water lines. Otherwise only the cold water line will be drained. Just a thought. This is the set up in the Georgetown 378. If you have two low point drains (1 hot/1 cold) then this info is useless.

Drains

edmo, the drains on the 30DS are under the water pump cabnet in front of the water heater. There are 2 plugs to remove.

I added ½ inch plastic valves on the end of the connections for both tank and low point drains. Put the ones with the big red handle.

Oh so easy now.
