Manual slide retract

2018 FR3 30DS
How would you bring the slides in manually if something goes wrong?

Depends on whether you have the Lippert In-Frame or Schwintek Track system. Two different slide mechanisms with two different procedures. Please identify your slide system(s).

That is a Slim Rack slide mechanism; please check out the PDF below with info on the operation of the slides. If you have further questions give Forest River Parts/Service a call at 574-206-7600.

Front slide worked but rear slide would not retract.

On the 2019 FR3. Downloaded the reset procedure to try to get rear popout to retract. Pulled the control switch panel to do the reset as described. Pushed the reset button and got the lights to respond as in the reset instructions but no retraction whe I pushe both motor1 and motor2 buttons. When the repairman arrived he pushed the motor 1 and motor two buttons plus the “in” button. Got the slide to retract. Nowhere in the instructions does it say to do that. A faulty parking brake wire connection at the slide motor control box in the storage Compartment was the culprit.
