Mysterious squeak under dash.

For about a year now we have been enjoying a squeaking sound coming from under the dash drivers side of our 2015 30 DS. It comes and goes, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes longer but always eventually goes away. It can get pretty loud but normally isn't too bad. At first we thought it had to do with the engine or suspension but neither the dealer or our own RV service center could replicate it or pin it down. Everything seems ok but I did notice it more pronounced in warm weather. But, as I said, it always goes away on its own. We just have gotten used to it as part of the FR3 ownership experience and don't even worry about it anymore. Have these gremlins visited your coach?

We now own an FR3 30DS, but had a similar squeak on a previous unit (Fleetwood Terra 2006). We had a tv built in above the windshield and had a squeak that really annoyed us. I finally discovered that the wooden frame around the tv was causing it. It seems that the frame was assembled with screws. The screws were a little loose and the frame pieces were all moving against each other. Once I tightened all of the screws the squeak went away completely. I think the dash in the FR3 is supported by wooden 2x4's. Perhaps there is similar movement there. Good luck!

Good theory, I'll definitely check that. Thanks!

I had a similar squeak and it came from the front grill rubbing together. Higher speeds went away - lower speeds came back... Just put some foam strips in and solved the problem.
