Now What?

As I was extending the Dining Rm/Living Rm slide this morning I heard a "snap." I looked down and saw a chuck of plastic on the floor to the aft of the dining room table. It appears as if a piece of the plastic housing somehow got bound (?) and snapped. Anyone have a similar problem?

That is probably part of the flexible wiring conduit. I think mine is gray in color.

They had to replace mine because it would not feed properly into the small hole in the bathroom wall. My rv dealer installed a little curved plastic piece to allow the flexible conduit to feed properly into bathroom. If you notice in your bathroom the side wall has a humped area where the conduit feeds into.

We had a similar thing happen once, and I found that several "links" of that flexible plastic conduit "chain" had snapped apart. I was able to snap it all back together, and has worked fine since, although I now watch it while extending the slide, to make sure that it feeds into the hole correctly.

I heard a snap / pop that sounded like plastic when I first bought my 30DS but I haven't heard it since and the plastic wire loom feeds fine as far as I can tell...
I'll take another look this week...

Is this plastic cable channel chain visible from under the open living room slide? Visa le from inside? I'd like to check mine.

With the slide in, take a look along the wall where the thermostat is located. You'll see a wiring with a plastic cover being snaked out of the hole in the bathroom wall. When the slide is out, its suppose to slide into the bathroom closeout behind the toilet. You only see it when the slide is in though.
