2019 fr3 30ds with onan 5500 generator. ~40 hours
Generator would start, run for 20 minutes, then shutoff. Once hot, it would not start or run again for any duration and just pop.
During this issue, I learned you need to trust error codes and start there. Here is a good video
Error Code 58 = Exhaust Gas Temperature Shutdown
Took RV to local cummins shop. They replaced both ignition magnetos and had to pull generator from RV for service.
