Outslide receving slide frame pulling away from RV
I have a 30 DS 16 that the outside receiving living room slide frame is pulling away from the rv (back by the bathroom), it's worse on the bottom and gradually gets better at the top. From the pictures you will see that this frame (the frame that receives the slide when the slide gets sucked into the rv) has been pulled out by force somehow to the point where the screws have been stripped out. Not sure how this happened. When the slide is sucked all the way into the rv side, there is still a gap (you can see the slide pulley in the picture) because the aluminum slide frame is bent away and not even the force of the slide will suck the bent frame back against the side of the rv.
Anybody else seen this? It needs to go in the shop so that the screws can get set back into the frame.
FYI, the slide has been a bit loose from the beginning where we needed to add the aluminum strips on each underside of the slide in order to tighten the gap up in order to keep it from shifting around (squeaking while driving). I can't see that being a problem here however.
