Pick up Advice

So, we are going to pick up our 2016 FR3 next Saturday and it is projected to be 20 degrees.
What should I place on the top of the chart to check. Should I ask the dealer not to winterize after we do the walk through to ensure everything works. Getting cold feet after reading the most recent post on problems and issues. Going from a class c with no issues to a fr3 with numerous complaints.
Thanks

I did the same trade up last about this time last year and the dealer, Pontiac RV in Illinois, did not dewinterize for the PDI, I didn't ask them to and was glad it was set up for winter. I didn't try the water pump or heater until our first shake down in April. Everything worked perfect. Make sure your tech shows you the valve positions for the heater bypass. I've had good luck with my FR3 and the dealer handled my issues (door closer & camera) great, so don't despair.

Thank you for the reply, I'm sure the success stories with the FR3's are greater than the stories with problems.
Just getting some cold feet after doing reading. Thanks again.

I actually really like my FR3. Now my dealer on the other hand…. In my case they would promise absolutely anything and deliver on almost nothing. Personally if I had it to do over again I would have read this form first and made a list of all the major complaints and check them right on the lot. Also I think it's fair to keep in mind that there's many different types of people with different levels of expectations. Not to say anyone's right or wrong but some people are definitely more particular than others.

One of the things I wish I would've looked closer at was the ceiling. I noticed it problem a month or so after I owned the coach and then read about the issue on the forum. There is a lot of yellow glue seeping through the ceiling. It's not bad but it's annoying when you look closely.

The bunk magnets have been an ongoing problem. I finally fix them myself with some larger bolts and now have made some permanent dowels stained to match the wood color with rubber feet. It won't be falling down anymore.

Good luck I hope you enjoy and welcome to the family.

Backup camera and monitor were only issues not brought on by the dealer for me. Leaking windshield as well, but mine was driven from IN to the dealer in CA, it happens. A lot can get knocked around driving to CA. It's a great rig, I'd go out every weekend if I could.
