Recliner hard to open/close

2015 FR3 30DS
Is anyone else having trouble getting the recliner to open and close easily? We also found two screws fell out that were stripped that holds the kick out slats on the reclining mechanism. I'll have to replace them with longer screws. Hopefully they'll get easier to operate with use.

Yes it take a little getting use too.

The screws were loose on ours as well and were catching when you opened or closed the footrest. I check that all the other screws were snug and it fixed my problem.

had same with ours. first one fell apart, fixed it and then tightened the other one. all is good now

Hello,

We have a 28DS. Reclining sofa did not work when we purchased. We have since contacted Mastercraft and they have been wonderful. Apparently lots of problems with this sofa. They are sending a replacement. Ours is actually very beat up and some stitching coming out. Has anyone installed one of these? Would prefer not to take the RV to dealer over an hour away.
Different topic, 300 toilet cracked and smells! Another defect Dometic is sending replacement for that also. Not happy with problems with RV, BUT SO FAR VERY PLEASED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Some of the stitching is coming undone on our seating at the table on our 2015 30DS. It's the stitching on the corner or the back rest, at the sofa. I guess I'll just grab a thread and needle and stitch it back up..
