Has anyone removed the front overhead bed without having to cut welds or hinges? I would hope that the removal of a few bolts would allow the whole bed to be removed.... I want that thing gone!
I see 2 bolts on each side up at the top near the front. There is also another one which goes up into the horizontal plate that the bed rests on. Are there others?
I am not even sure how to get to the one going up into the horizontal plate.The padded cushion is covering that.
Removal of the panel next to the overhead storage by the driver and passenger, revels the nuts to the two bolts. I still do not see how the whole metal frame comes down.
So no-one has removed this who can provide some assistance?
