Replacing counter top

I am not trilled with the countertop in my 30ds and am thinking of changing it
Has anyone replaced the counter and can tell me how it’s connected to the cabinets (glue - screws ) and any other details.
I was told by my dealer that the cabinets are assembled after the outside walls are up and are not like the ones in the house
Thanks

The only thing I can offer is that my bathroom countertop was replaced under warranty (edge started to delaminate near the shower) and the countertop was connected by screws coming from the cabinet braces up into the countertop.

It’s not that I don’t like the looks it’s material it’s made from when it get wet it expands and causing the paper or whatever it is to peel around the sink

That’s how my pop up was too. Screws from underside into top. I replaced mine with a piece of oak veneer plywood with several coats of polyurethane. Used iron on oak edging for sides before coating. This after faucet crack wet underside and the thing swelled and delaminated.

First think I did was change those plastic taps with regular ones so they didn’t do just that...sure cheap out when making the unit

Yep now the “new” one is changed to metal too since previous owner did not open faucet last winter!
