Roadmaster Nighthawk - How much line slack?

Got the Rock Hard 4x4 bumper set up on the Jeep for towing with Roadmaster mounts. When I pulled the Nighthawk out to set it up I realized it's pre-wired down the driver side whereas the CoolTech Light harness comes down the passenger side of the Jeep and I have it mounted on the near-passenger side of bumper.

I emailed Roadmaster and their response was to re-wire the mount to the driver side, which is not realistic for me. Already drilled holes in bumper, already heatshrunk wires, etc. etc.

Looking at this, would anyone have concerns about towing Jeep with the wire coming from driver side of Nighthawk over to passenger side of bumper?

I looked at disconnecting and re-running it but the LED lights in the Nighthawk are pre-wired into that and also they said the connector is filled with silicone to help keep water out, so it sounds like it could be messy. Thoughts?

Update on this, I went ahead and switched the line because the 32DS connection point is also passenger side. Be careful with the 2 LED wires that are soldered in, black from LED goes to white on harness and red from LED goes to brown on harness.

Now we're all hooked up and ready to go!

The Nighthawk safety cables don't attached to the hitch slots the greatest... has anyone ever just dropped a new carabiner or connection from the hitch plate and attached to that instead?

I just bought a Nighthawk and a friend is re-wiring the battery by-pass cable/lights for me. I haven't been able to check the cable length yet. I am VERY nervous about cable for safety chains. The safety chains I use on the jeep could double for anchor chains on the Titanic! Probably overkill.
What does everyone else use? Thoughts about just the cable?
