Thanks Brewster. I appreciate the kind words. I'm going to attack the grill, probably start tomorrow.

I used a 5" x 5" vinyl fence post, a 5" vinyl end cap, a 4 3/4" cap, small hinges, a small clasp and hitch pin clip, and a 4" vinyl rain gutter. I cut the post to 6' (comes in 8' length) and the gutter to just under 6' (it comes in 10' length) to be able to slide into the post. Bought everything from Home Depot.

Couldn't agree more Brewster!! And it was a fun project. The weather on Friday way perfect and after a long cold winter it was great to be out doors the whole day.

Yes I drilled holes and used UV resistant zip ties. I cut my screen big then once in place l trimmed to fit.

I'll post some pics of the back side later on today. My drill bit size was based on the size of my zip ties.

hammer55... It's no big deal to drill the fiberglass. I used a smaller bit to make the first hole then a drill the same size as the tie strap. Just be sure to drill at the top of the opening, not the bottom. As you can see in my pic, on the left I drilled the bottom and then realized what I had done and drilled the top on the right side. Makes a big difference in the look (IMHO). Thankful I had touch-up paint from FR.

I bought all of the materials and I have no idea how to zip tie them to the door. Pictures of the inside of the door?
