I see where the latest FR3, as pictured in the FR3 gallery on the Forest River web site, has a grille protection screen factory installed.

I also saw that the new FR3 gallery shows a grill screen, so I contacted Forest River and they said, Sorry there is not a retrofit kit available.

After seeing everyone elese handywork, I installed mine this past weekend. Crazy easy and looks great! I was going to paint it black, but the galvanized looks good inside the black grill, next to the grey exterior.

Yes. But be sure to drill your holes at the top of the grille opening. It'll look better.
